Part 14: The Champion

A test of memory and growth.

Back rooms and mystic squares and momentary omniscience showed the dead storyteller and his allies that they had committed unforgivable crimes against causality. The Knight of Memory's patron goddess set him with two more of her chosen against his friends.

They understood why. As did he. So he did as he was bidden.

All is forgiven in the land of the living.

The knight, now among the goddess' champions, has begun to feel alienated in this place where everything is alive and he is not.
